Community Involvement
As a company, 1st Team Exteriors believes that giving back and adding to our community is one of the most important things we can do with the opportunities we’ve been afforded. We love being able to donate the time and resources we have available to different places and organizations around the metro. See below for some of the events we’ve been able to participate in this year!
Union Gospel Mission Twin Cities is an organization very close to the hearts of 1st Team Exteriors. Dewey and Bridget specifically are active members in helping to further the Mission and are always looking for new ways to provide assistance for those who truly need it.
UGMTC provides aid for homeless/displaced men, women, and children – providing shelter, hot meals, clothing, education, job placement, as well as Christ centered counseling and drug and alcohol treatment.
UGMTC hosts an annual banquet to thank the people who make the Mission and their cause possible. In May, Dewey purchased three tables for the event and filled the seats with friends, family, and 1st Team Employees/contractors. Everyone had a wonderful night learning more about the Mission and listening to the stories and testimonials of current residents receiving help from UGMTC.

Los Cabos Mission for Christ has recently become one of the organizations 1st Team Exteriors has become involved in. Founders Brian and Jacqueline were called to uproot their lives in Ohio and move to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico to provide aid and spread the love of Christ in a community that so desperately needs it. In February of this year, Dewey, Bridget, Sam, Michael, and his wife, Abbey, were able to meet Brian and Jacqueline and spend a few hours visiting the community LCMC serves. Recently, an opportunity to contribute to the much needed rebuild of a single mothers home presented itself, and 1st Team Exteriors was more than happy to help make that possible. While touring the community, they were able to meet the family and visit the build site of their new home. Pictured is Michael with little Mateo, the youngest of the three children that will be able to grow up in this new home! After seeing the build site, they were able to visit one of the feeding stations where residents can go six days a week for a much needed hot meal. The last stop of the tour was to the LCMC community center where food donations are accepted and meals are prepared, English classes are taught, and medical care is provided. It was so wonderful to get to meet Brian and Jacqueline as well as some of the people who benefit from their Mission. Find out more about Los Cabos Mission for Christ in the link below!
1st Team has had the privilege to sponsor this great group of guys for the past 10 years. This bunch has been playing together since High School and we love getting to watch them grow as men and as a team year after year. We can’t wait to continue supporting this team through sponsorships and crowd support and hope they can add many more championships to their record!
